Turinese “Juventus” managed to win a competition for the defender of “Ajax Amsterdam” Matthijs de Ligt, being the object of interest of many European top clubs.

As Fabrizio Romano informs, the 19-year-old Dutchman will sign a 5-year contract presupposing a salary of 12 million euros per year. Reportedly, the release fee of 150 million euros will be spelled out in the player’s contract. The footballer’s agent Mino Raiola asked to add this clause to the contract.

It is expected that “Juventus” will enter into talks on the transfer fee with “Ajax” soon. Many experts believe this sum will be equal to 70–85 million euros.
